It’s a Picture Perfect Commercial

The time for doubling down on digital branding and commercial video content is NOW! With social media leading the way in consumer screen time, videos have become just about the only way to tell people about your business, product, campaign, or entertainment.

At Picture Perfect we have unleashed our inner creative and merged with a highly technical crew to create some of the most dynamic video productions in the commercial space. So let’s break down the videos you might be seeing online, on TV, or on your favorite streaming platform.

Digital Brand Videos

These stylized videos are typically used to create a story or narrative around a business or organization with the intention of leading to more sales or higher audience interaction and involvement. Maybe you’re looking for more volunteers, donors, or you just want to get the word out about your company. Typically these videos are used for things like your website, social media profiles, digital ads, and content marketing. These videos speak directly to the brand. We like to think of these kinds of videos as timeless and speak to your overall brand identity. The goal of Digital Branding is to engage with the viewer and develop a deeper story and aims for interaction, versus traditional ads which are more theatrical in nature and tell a story that is complete and leads the viewer to a conclusion.

Commercial

Picture Perfect has had the pleasure of working with some big brands on some really satisfying commercials. You can check out the full videos of some of our favorite work by clicking on any of the links you see in the headings or take a look through our site to see some of the amazing work we have had the opportunity to be a part of.

When working in commercials, the goal is to guide the viewer to a conclusion. In this example with Home Depot, the goal was to leave the viewer with a sense of inspiration to start a home garden, and we planted the idea that Home Depot is the place to go for everything they will need.

Commercials can be theatrical in nature, or they can involve speaking directly to the audience, but the idea is that there is a chapter or a story to tell about a more specific product, service, or campaign. Commercials are specific in nature, while they can also act as digital branding, they serve as a complete story in and of themselves and are more geared towards achieving a specific result from the viewer as opposed to a feeling for the entire brand.

Commercials have a unique opportunity for creativity that has been greatly enjoyed by our team. We have had the ability to express ourselves as creators to develop an artful layer to any brand project. Though we have the opportunity to be creative the overall goal is for a commercial to lead to higher profitability.

Television

This year, Picture Perfect, proudly entered the ranks of becoming a television production crew. This monumental transition led to significant growth for PPPNE, and it opened our eyes to how prepared we were to take on the task. Our crew is used to high efficiency, quick paced production. We operate with a plan and the means to execute it. Developing content for television gave us the opportunity to dwell in a space longer, while still shifting from shoot to shoot because we ran a completely location based production with single day shoots.

Our experience in fast turn over with commercial work, led to our success with a quick paced television series. We completed 50 episodes in Atlanta, and we could not be more excited to share Aspire TV’s City Eats Atlanta with you. You can check out the preview here, and view it live every week Thursdays at 8PM on Aspire Tv.

Social Media

In the last decade and a half, the internet has expanded to include the social media landscape. The majority of Social Media users are interacting on their phones. For commercials, that means that you have to get your content into a mobile friendly format. The stylings of commercials have changed and evolved over the years from scripting down to the color of lighting used in production. Our team might be full of the right kind of nerds who enjoy the commercials at the halftime of the super bowls. The fun ones that tell a story or make you feel surprised or in awe. Maybe those commercials leave you feeling aghast. Social Media has increased the need for humorous, short form content that speaks to brand identity but is approachable and leaves a bigger impact with a more mundane situation. The goal of social media is relatability.

Social media has shifted the tone in content which has subsequently affected the approach to Commercial and Digital Branding as well as television production. People are tired of ads that don’t speak to them, so brands have taken to social media, but they are noticing the need to engage, and speak to their audience rather than talking at them. Picture Perfect has done well to adapt to the changes in commercial, and digital branding over the years to speak to the audiences found on social media. We have developed flexible and efficient production plans that allow us to capture material in a multitude of formats, meeting the needs of each of our clients, no matter the size.

What have you noticed in the ads that you see? Where are you seeing the ads for the products or services you need most?
